So, that friend of mine calls. Seems they're coming down for the weekend. I'm not sure this one or next week. No letter of apology, no personal word to me, nothing. And now they'll be coming to visit. Gee. I can hardly wait. Perhaps I should do a sleep-over at Kou's house? Does anyone have the plans to build a punji pit?

So, WotW has been having a few problems this past week. Seems some founder/owner of a certain group (AF) has been on the warpath with some of the WotW members. She's bombarded them with wicked letters, signed their guestbooks in an unpardonable manner, and trolled through the WotW webring to recruit the rest of us for AF. Not satisfied with this, she reported the WotW site to Angelfire for violating the TOS. They removed the WotW site.

There was no violation of the TOS. Angelfire is investigating the matter, I understand. GieGie, founder of WotW has already moved the site to a new URL. Most of us in WotW are just laughing at this woman's antics, but composing little letters of protest of our own.

So, Rose, honey....just give it up. We're miles ahead, and we'll stay that way. And don't come crying to me about how we're all "picking" on you, a sadly disabled woman. Even the disable have a sense of decency and strength. None of us are buying into your pitiable pleas.

RAVES

Hey! My SEA PSP stuff this week was fast, fun, and turned out great! In fact, everyone liked it so well, they've been asking how I did them. I'm very humbled! I did the advanced tutorial and then was asked for advice on it! That's movin' up!

Been moving things helter skelter off the website. If something is missing you loved, let me know. I think some of it might be unrecoverable, but I'll do what I can. Thanks to all the women's webgroups who let me go, and the rings who let me go, and the fight groups who let me go....without a big fight or fal-de-ral. I really appreciate it.

Last, but not least....go do the FUM at TC. ;)

RANTS

It's going to be a hard week, I hope everyone understands. I'm still feeling blue and down and depressive, as well as angry, betrayed and vengeful. I'm sure this will go up and down as the week continues on. September Eleventh is coming, as well, which is just going to compound this feeling.

Keep a good thought this week. Light a candle for rememberance, and for yourself. Overcome what you can, release what you can not control, and try to keep peace in your heart.

Which is why I'm posting here right now. First, I seem to be awfully busy. Sorry about the infrequent updates. It's been rather a LIFE around here lately. I mean offline as well. Worked three days last week, in fact. So much for the peace of school starting!

But the rant isn't about that. The rant is about living with the mistakes of your past. Ever notice how horribly hard it is? How, when confronted with another person's point of view, all we can see is our side? Ever notice how when someone hurts you, they apologize to someone ELSE to make themself feel better? I'm a tad annoyed right now, as you might be able to tell.

Got a nasty email, you see. I mean down-n-dirty, horriblistic, profanic email. The kind of thing you'd like to send to your mother and don't? That kind. (Joking...I love my mom...LOL) This person who wrote it then sent email to my DH apologizing for it. Not to me. DH didn't see through the ploy, and returned email, forgiving this person. Kind of just makes me feel worse than I did when I got the email. Now I'm just in a stew of anger. I'll have to meditate long and hard to get past it, to find what I'm supposed to learn from it. I think I might just be a teacher in this one, however. Oh well, can't figure everything out at this hour of the day. Suffice to say: *grrr*

I also want to mention that it takes a lot of work to uphold someone else's right to freedom. I support you, Sal, and I support myself and my views as well, as unpopular as they may be.

RAVES

They moved Stargate: SG1 to Sunday night at 9! I'm just AMAZED. It's finally out of the HOLE timeslot at midnight Saturday. I couldn't be happier for me or for the show. It deserves a prime-time slot after 3 long, slow years in bizarre times and days. Go Stargate! (See ya, "Charmed", my boys Jack and Daniel and Teal'c need me. LOL!)

Look for some changes around the website. I'm going to have trim off like 15k of the 25k that's there. My acutal limit appears to be 10k! I had no idea I'd gone so far over. A lot of the changes you won't notice, but since there is SO much to get rid of, you might. If you see something vanish that you loved, email me or something. I'll do what I can to put it back up. :)
