Writing Successes: Cool stuff for Themiscyra.
Music Playing: "Time of Your Life" KINK style. They're celebrating 35 years on the radio by playing a year a day. Today was 1991.
Post-Surgery Healing: Kind of weird. Left side is looking and doing great. I barely even know something happened there. Right side is burning, itchy, bleeding, scabbing, oozing, and just being all kinds of "ow" in general. Glad to be going to doctor tomorrow.
Follow up to "Things I won't miss" (Oct 27 entry)
The Rash. What rash where? It's totally gone.
The Sweat. None. In fact, my stomach requires constant amounts of lotion now, there are these wierd lines where the skin is peeling and dry. It's also a tan color, which is freaky. Friction-caused, I think. But it's fading. So, no sweat.
The Bra. I am wearing a sports bra right now, my very first one of those ever. (I have two.) I'm a little sick of it now, because I've worn in constantly for two weeks. However, I feel great in the thing. It's comfortable, my shoulders are fine, my neck and back don't hurt, and I CAN wear it two weeks pretty much solid without really noticing. On the same topic, my step-mother's mother sent over some D's and DD's she didn't like for me to try. Two of them were TOO BIG. That has never, ever, ever, ever happened. Bra's are always too small. I laughed like a freak when I saw how I didn't FILL the bra.
The Food. I have the cleanest shirts I have ever had in my life. I can get OVER the plate without having anything in the way. I dropped something on the floor on the first or second day, in fact, and laughed. Cause it was the FLOOR.
The Clothes. I can wear my official "Redhead" t-shirt, and have done that several times very proudly. When I got this shirt, it was WAY too small across the bust. Now, it fits just perfect. I still don't have a bathing suit, but I'm looking forward to a trip to the store to buy a little something from Victoria's Secret. I'm still to big for a bunch of their things (weight-wise), but I can get something cute, I know it. I want something cute and very, very feminine!
The Manhandling. Okay, here's another time I laughed out loud. I was forced to sleep on my back for the first week or so. Rolling over was just too painful. Well, like two days ago I realized I was waking up on my side and even face down, so I told Donin to 'move back' into the bed. (For obvious reasons, sharing the bed was out. He was on a cot at the foot of my bed.) Well, when I tried to sleep facing upward, I just couldn't, not with him there. So I turned over to my side, and automatically went to 'heave' things out of the way. Imagine my shock when my hands found NOTHING to heave. I'm still doing it, if that tells you what kind of a habit that was.
There aren't any pictures yet, sorry. There will be.
Bizarre Quiz of the Day:
This one goes out to Sal and Theryn, who should enjoy it VERY much. Thanks to Jam for the link. :)
