Wanted to pass on the news that my father got married about 2 weeks ago to Leslie, his girlfriend for a year. It was a pretty ceremony on a hill in a friend's backyard with a barbeque afterward. We all had a grand time, even if it did manage to rain on us for about 2 minutes! (The day was overcast to begin with, and about 90F...then it rained...then the sun came out.)

Not much going on here, sadly. I had a couple of interviews with a video chain...but they haven't called or anything. I've called them once a week since the interviews (which were at the end of MAY) and they keep having an excuse or something so they can't seem to say, "Hired!" But they always sound like they WANT to say it, that it's a done deal. But here I sit, jobless and going more in debt every month. *sigh* Time to go find someone who will hire me, not just talk about hiring me.

On a good note, I did re-edit Bron (*waits for Sal's squeals of delight to die down*) and send it in to a contest. Not sure how that's going to turn out, but I do like the re-edit. I realized I didn't have much description in the piece and I added a few things here and there. Didn't touch the core of it, because that was already tight, but it needed a little flourishing. That was fun.

Had to go looking through eVill archives for Sorcha & Pak. Made me shiver all over again. It's like visiting your own grave. Picked up a nice paramecium while I was there, however. Passed that along to Jam. Hope she can figure out how to use it at TC without violating any copyright things. Cause...funny!
