Okay, I tested as an Earth Faerie, but I'm feeling depressed and think I messed up some of the questions.

RANTS

Well, sorry it's been so LONG since I posted here. I had no idea it'd been an entire month. I mean, it doesn't surprise me all that much, but really!

What went on? Well, I'd rather not say the whole problem. It ends with my eldest son being homeschooled again this semester, but hopefully back in school next semester. The school is providing a tutor, even, which is really cool.

RAVES

My youngest son turned 12, and he's doing an outstanding job in school right now. He had a lot of problems with one kid in class, but he's pulled himself up and turned around. It's just amazing. Now, if I can just get him to wear his glasses....

Thanksgiving was an interesting holiday. We used to have these big holiday PLANS. Go to the DH's aunt's house and feast with his family. But her husband died two years ago or so, and the tradition stopped. Then his parents moved to the southern part of the state, isolating themselves from the rest of us, really. I don't think Jeff minds, really, but it sure leaves us without much to do around the holidays now.

Anyhow, there we were the day before, no turkey, no fixin's, no plans. My friend Kou calls and says her neighbor has an extra turkey, and do we want it? I said sure, of course. So she drives out that night (it was like 10pm!) and brings me the turkey and some dressing. MY neighbor brought over her mother's stuffing and some canned vegetables. After a quick rush to the store for supplies, we added rolls and home-baked pumpkin pie (DH makes them, and his crust is just wonderful!) and had ourselves a really good time. It all turned out very well.

I also started a PSP community for WotW members. It's not very big, but it's still fun to scout out the tutorials and see all the work. Plus I have the added bonus of helping others. Something that, for reasons I still don't fully understand, is kind of frowned on in the SEA group.

My index and voting pages have changed. I had a kind of meltdown that was all my fault and had to redo the index page. The background and graphics are a lot better, the navigation links are easier to understand and smaller, and I rearranged the page. It turned out so well, I figured I'd continue to update the pages as I go along. LOL. One a week and I'll have the site all changed over in, say, 2 months. LOL. We'll see how that goes.

SUPER thanks to everyone at Toasted Cheese who has been supporting me through the last month. Trina, who's really taken the brunt of the fantasy writing board for MONTHS now. Jam, who sends me all kinds of information and chatting so I don't feel like the worst mom in the universe. Kou, the great bringer of turkeys. Theryn, the television gossip outlet. Sal, the Neoaddict. Dee, whose troubles were so much bigger than my own as to put mine both to shame and in perspective.
