Rants

Nothing much, just sitting around at work today, waiting for the boss to come home. I could have been home by now if I'd taken the bus, but an opportunity to willfully misuse the bosses broadband connection is always welcome. Figured I'd waste some time over here.

Had a good conversation with "The Prince" (see archive 9/25) over the weekend. Related how the entire thing wasn't about me, but about him. I mean, I was saying it rote like every 5 minutes. I think he got the point. I'm sure there's going to be more about that to come, but for now the entire ball is back in his court where it belongs.

Had dinner with my dad and sister yesterday. It was a lot of fun. My sister, who will be sixteen in a couple of weeks, was all twinny with me, echoing what I said. It was very funny, and my father was very scared. Boo-yah. There's good times. (By the way, just for Sal and Theryn's sake, "Good Times" was something my sister said over and over and over to mean "good" and "sooper" etc. I found it hysterical every time.)

Have nothing cooked up for Halloween. But I think DH & I will do some burning for Samhain. No costume as of yet, although I'm considering something lame (and easy( like "Goth Girl". Hehehhe...

Okay, I'm going to go. I've done about as much damage as I should right now, anyway. Keep your pumpkins safe and your broom in the air!
