Writing Successes: Wrote a bunch of stuff for Themiscyra. Did mucho offline stuff today, making phone calls to people who weren't there. All very magical.

Music Playing: Okay, now this should at least make Eden smile....I'm listening to a tape I made about...oh, a zillion years ago. (Okay, it was probably 1981-1983.) The tape said, "Selected Shorts Slow - Kids From Fame" And that appears to be what it is. The Kids from FAME. I was aiming for Streisand, which is also sitting here, but thought, "What's on that?" and popped this in.

Now, in my defense, it was the 80's. I was in high school. FAME was a big movie, and the tv show was VERY popular. They had, I believe, four albums...and I think I had them all. This show mirrored some of my life for a while, although I never could sing very well and had this just nasty, horrible stage fright. (Still can't sing terribly well, although American Idol restores my self-confidence....and I can't stand being in any kind of spotlight, stage, etc.)

Anyhow, so I was a huge fan of this thing. I suppose my relationship with a certain oh-so-gay-Klingon friend went a long way to fostering the interest. He and I would sing and sing to these things. We called each other during commercials and through the show and watched it together...ah, good times.

Needles to say, I'm sitting here singing "most" of the words to these songs. Some I know better than others. In '84, my parents moved to the coast, 200 miles from all my friends. These FAME songs were the ONLY alternative to the crappiest radio stations I'd ever had the misfortune to listen to, and reminded me of home. I'd turn the volume up TRIPLE loud and just stand in the middle of the living room, looking out this plate glass window at the sliver of ocean I could see and sing to my friends. I believe I was doing just that the day I saw Tahn. Ah, my Aussie beauty. Yeah, okay.....

Of course, this was all before smoking totally wracked my lungs and breathing technique. LOL.

So, enough with the tracks of the past there. Let the music play!

Buffy was on this evening. MAN, was I relieved that Giles wasn't a dead man! There were rumors over at City of Angel's Insane Asylum that he might be dead, doing a kind of "Sixth Sense" move. And he has been very careful not to touch anyone. But, thank heaven, it's all false. Well, at least him being an agent for the First is wrong. And he can touch stuff. In fact....Andrew! Nasty thing! EW!

That leaves Angelus for tomorrow. *tap foot* C'mon already!

Oh. And Amy needs to be bitch-slapped.

Guess that's all for today. More editing and website writing due for tomorrow, so don't look for an exciting update. However, I might paw through the music fault some more. Ah, Tahn. :-D

The comment thing IS working, if you want to leave a note.
