Writing Successes: Been putting up Themiscyra archives lately. Got a tad obsessed and did three in one day. A new record.

Post surgery healing: Went to the doctor, he said he's done with me. Don't have to go back. He pulled some sutures that had come undone or something, but other than that, I'm healed.

Had a bit of an early Christmas yesterday. My step-mom took me to her mom's house for a day of trying on clothing. On the way out, I also snagged two boxes of Christmas decorations and an area rug for the living room. Pretty happy overall with the haul. Got 2 BIG boxes of clothes, all really nice ones.

One more sign that the end is near.

The end? Oh, well, yeah. Surely you realize (as I did) that all these changes have been leading up to my having a 'real' job. No more sitting at home all day. Must have money. I'm about as excited about this as I am about having a pipe shoved up my ass. I'm sure you can tell.

I'm going to put it off until after the first of the year, but I'll probably have some kind of employment before January is out. No, I don't know what it will be. Yes, I have some ideas, but I'm not sure where I'll land. Time will tell.

Also invited to step-mother's house for a celebration on Sunday. Looking forward to that, although I won't know many of the people there. Haven't seen my step-brother since he was a kid, however, so that'll be cool. He's all adult and married now.
