Writing Success: Um...writing. Yeah. Okay.

Music Playing: 107.5 The 80's and more station. I forget the name.

Exerpt from "...And You Think You've Got It Bad"
Love And Marriage - Never Marry a Man to Reform HimDo not go to the ball-room or to a fashionable watering place to secure a true, affectionate and domestic companion. The very atmosphere of such a place is destructive to nature's pure affection and her natural language. There, art and deception take the place of nature, the whole mind is highly charged with excitement and false pretenses.

Beware of the young man who indulges in all manners of excesses. Remember that in considering the effect of dissipation, wine and tobacco, the transient pleasure of a moment may mean the suffereing of a lifetime. His deeds of darkenss will entail untold suffering on generation after generation.

Do I even need to go through this one? Or should I make a neon sign for Kou? *hahahaha*

Hey, they can't all be pretty princess quizzes, can they? Besides, I enjoy this one. Run away! Run away!

Well, the house is down to the paint, which means the "hordes" have left us to our own devices for the time being. Not that I'm not grateful, but having your every move scrutinized and double-checked is a bit disconcerting when you're our age. (My DH had a hard time quite a few times. He's older than I am by 9 years, and I'm not a spring chicken!) But it's all wonderful. And to show how much I appreciate and respect all the hard work, I'm resolved to do better than my best at keeping it up. So far, success! Good on me.

Patrick got his arm out of the splint and into a cast today. He's much happier. They unwrapped layer after layer of crap until they found his arm. Then they re-wrapped it in a gauze sleeve, a light layer of what looked like cotton batting or something, a light layer of fiberglass, and a layer of red fiberglass casting. The nurse said he lightened it by about 4lbs. Patrick seems a LOT happier with it, in fact.

It was also his last day of school. Matt still has until the end of the week, however. Bummer for Matt. But he'll get prizes and a field trip and to spend these last days 'playing' really. Pat is missing out on all that. But he says he's going to do MUCH better in high school next year.

Haven't been writing, but I have had the urge to. I just can't seem to find the TIME to do it. Plus, the doc gave me amitriptyline for the stomach cramps (since it's all in my mind) and I've gone apathetic. I just don't care that things are going undone or falling behind or whatever. There's like no stress right now that's getting to me. On the downside, I sleep a lot more and longer in the morning. On Sunday, I didn't move until nearly 12:30. Insane. I never sleep past 9! But there it was.

Guess that's all for now. Don't really have any rants I care to share today. ;) HEY! Did I mention the credit card company cleared my account? You remember, the one charging me insane amounts of money for NINETY TWO CENTS? Cleared it up totally. So, let me tell you, write the letter complaining. It DOES work.

On that note, kalos kalinihta!
